- Colours of characters and backgrounds changing in time to the beat.
- Split screens, with the split screens interacting with each other.
- Recordings of different parts of people used to make up one 'person', or face.

fun. - Walking the Dog (Skinny, 2010)
This is a video for a song which has the same upbeat feel to it, and which is in roughly the same genre of indie pop. Some techniques from this video that I think are effective and I believe we could use include:

The split screen editing can be used very well to make it seem that different band members for instance are interacting in real time. Also, the creation of a single face using different parts from multiple faces would create quite a 'different' looking video.
